Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with his complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a 4-year-old pre-schooler who requires support throughout the day and night.

He currently resides in a hospice in Loughborough and he is in need of an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join his team to enable him to return to his family in Nottingham

We are offering support with the transportation costs until he his home

He is a charming and loving little boy that can be shy in the beginning but warms up to people very quickly. He shows his loveable personality through physical touch and cuddles.

To relax he enjoys watching CBeebies especially Mr Tumble and watching his favourite shows on YouTube.

Main duties of the job

During your shift you will be supporting him with all aspects of his personal and social needs as well as promoting development through play.

He is usually asleep when you arrive to your night shift, you will be there to promote a restful environment and support him with his care needs throughout the night.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked in complex care however this is not essential.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time / Part Time
  • Days- Monday - Friday
  • 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Saturdays- 12:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Nights- 10pm - 8am

Sunday £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per shift)
