Job summary

We are recruiting a new team in Harborne and are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to deliver care for our service user with his complex healthcare needs.

If you are an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker who is compassionate and committed, enjoy delivering one to one or two to one care, this could be the perfect job role for you!

Our service user is a young man who is currently residing in a Spinal Rehabilitation Unit and needs to recruit a care team to enable him to return to his family home in Harborne.

He is very focused on his rehabilitation and will continue this at home with the aid of his dedicated team who will support his physical and clinical needs and most importantly his mental wellbeing with positivity and encouragement.

He loves to spend quality time with his family, friends and especially his family pet dog who he shares a special bond with, and is a huge part of his life.

Main duties of the job

Previous experience in supporting service users with a spinal injury is essential for this role.

Your role will be to assist our service user throughout the night supporting with his personal care, mobility support and attending to his complex and clinical care needs

Working with a regular service user you will develop great relationships and find this a personally rewarding care role where you can make a real difference, building on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time & Part Time opportunities
  • Waking Nights over 12-hour shifts

Weeknights £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per shift)

Weekends £16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per shift)

Bank Holiday £18.00 per hour (£216 approx. per shift)
