Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with her complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a 9-year-old girl who lives with her family in Birmingham who requires 1:1 support through the day.

At home she loves to get messy with arts and crafts, reading books and spending time on her IPAD, such as playing games and watching videos.

When possible, she loves to explore in the garden such as planting flowers and learning about how they grow.

She can mobilise independently but may require assistance sometimes for her safety.

Main duties of the job

Your role will be to support all her personal, clinical, and complex care needs along with supporting her to access her favourite activities throughout the day. She is also home schooled so will also need encouragement and support with her learning and development.

We are looking for someone who can actively get involved in her play and social time to promote her development.

We are looking for candidates who have had previous experience with managing seizures.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time / Part Time
  • Days- Monday Friday
  • 8am 4pm
  • Alternate weekends will be needed to support with alternative packages.

Weekdays: £11.00 per hour (£88 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Bank holidays: £15.00 per hour (£120 approx. per 8-hour shift)
