Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage boy with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering support and who can build positive relationships with our service user and his family.
Our service user is a fun-loving teenage boy, who lives in a very friendly and loving household with his parents and their family pets.
He enjoys spending time with his family, being outside in the garden, spending time on his iPad, and going out to some of his favourite places including the cinema and bowling.
We are looking for a dedicated team to provide specialised care with his complex needs. Your role will include assisting his family at home, prior to school, with his morning routine. You will then accompany him to his educational setting travelling with him and supporting him there throughout the day with his clinical care needs.
Main duties of the job
During the day you will be supporting with all social and personal needs as well as promoting development through play and learning ensuring he can reach his full potential. He needs full support with all his moving and handling but mobilises with an electronic wheelchair that he operates independently.
Our ideal applicant will be confident providing clinical care within a school setting, observant to his care needs and would have awareness of respiratory conditions.
We are looking for someone who has had both their covid vaccinations and boosters for this position.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available
- Full Time & Part Time Days
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 4pm
- Term Time only

Weekdays : £12.00 per hour (£96 approx. per 8 hour shift)
Bank Holiday : £14.50 per hour (£116 approx. per 8 hour shift)
