We are looking for compassionate and committed support workers in Accrington, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his home.
Our service user is a gentleman in his 40s who lives in Accrington and requires support on a 2:1 basis throughout the day with his complex and clinical care needs.
He enjoys listening to music through his Alexa, watching T.V his favourite programmes include sports, soaps, and box sets and he enjoys having a takeaway.
He has a great sense of humour who loves a bit of banter and is looking for a like-minded person to join his team.
Main duties of the job
Throughout the day your role will be to support with his daily tasks such as personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation and attending to his clinical needs when required.
You will assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests, enjoy a chat and a banter with him and support with light duties around the home as he does live alone.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in managing challenging behaviours and will have a strong-willed approach.
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time Days available 2 shifts per week
- 7:00am 7:00pm
- Alternate Weekends are needed for this position

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168.00 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £192.00 per 12-hour shift)
