Job summary

If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex clinical care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you!

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Sutton-in-Ashfield, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in her own home.

Our service user is a lady in her 20s who currently lives with her loving family in Sutton-in-Ashfield and requires support at home with her complex care needs.

She is a very loving and cheerful lady who always greets her care team with a smile!

She particularly enjoys getting her nails painted, loves to take pride in her appearance and enjoys being out and about in the community. She adores her family and spending quality time with them is very important to her.

Our service user communicates via facial expressions, sounds and body language so it is important her care team become familiar with her ways of communication to anticipate her needs and wants.

Main duties of the job

Throughout the day you will be supporting with her personal care, moving, and handling requirements, attending to her clinical care needs, and assisting her to enjoy her hobbies and interests.

Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to her clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful nights sleep.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time 1-2 shifts per week
  • Days: 9:00am- 9.00pm, 9:00am-3:00pm, & 3:00pm-9:00pm
  • Candidates must be flexible to complete a mixture of shifts

  • Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (£144.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£162.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Saturday: £14.00 per hour (£168.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Sunday: £14.00 per hour (£168.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per 12-hour shift)
