Job summary
If you are looking for a rewarding new role within healthcare, you are in the right place!
Working in healthcare can be incredibly fulfilling as it allows you to make a positive impact on people's lives every day.
We are looking for experienced and committed Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Our service user is a sociable and friendly lady in her 50s who lives in Sydenham in her family home with her daughter. She requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day on a 1:1 basis.
At home she enjoys watching her favourite TV programs such as Loose Women, various series on Netflix and loves spending quality time with her family and care team. A key aspect of this role involves being out in the community with our service user, enjoying their hobbies, interests and accessing her favourite social activities.
A good pamper session is another favourite pastime of hers, especially having her hair washed and nails done, and enjoys the occasional takeaway when she can.
Main duties of the job
At home you will provide support with all aspects of her care and companionship, this includes personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to her clinical care needs where required.
