Sancta Maria Hospital Swansea is offering an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and visionary individual to lead our Outpatient Department (OPD) as the new Head of OPD. As Head of OPD, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of outpatient services. You will set and uphold clinical standards, ensure robust pre-assessment processes, and deliver safe, effective care to our patients. Main duties of the job

  • Inspire and mentor a diverse OPD team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture and professional development.
  • Champion best practice clinical standards and protocols, maintaining the hospitals reputation for excellence.
  • Oversee the patient journey, using patient experience to drive continual improvement in patient experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Clinical Services and consultants to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
  • Lead the development and introduction of innovative services that respond to evolving patient needs.
  • Efficiently manage resources and deliver seamless, high-quality care across all outpatient services.
