Main duties of the job
To
deliver a professional service, producing high quality diagnostic imaging for
multiple specialties. Delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining
accurate record keeping and observing national and local guidance.

Support the Radiology service joining
a multi- disciplinary team, being accountable to the Radiology Services
Manager/Radiology Team Lead
Assist in the provision of an
efficient Radiology service of the highest standard
Demonstrate evidence of organizational
skills and able to work both autonomously, and as part of a team
Have substantial experience in General
Radiography and theatre procedures
Compliance, knowledge and
understanding of IR(ME)R regulations and IRR17
Communicate and work closely with
Radiologists and wider consultant specialists in setting up policies and
protocols for all Radiology and patient pathways
Excellent verbal, written and
interpersonal communication skills.
Communicate effectively with the
Multidisciplinary team in order to promote efficient patient care and
maintain effective channels of communication both with staff and patients
To maintain staff morale and
contribute through a positive and proactive example in communication and
leadership
Participate in a 24/7 On call service

- Experience within a clinical setting, performing diagnostic Imaging including general x-ray, mobile x-ray and theatre/fluoroscopy.
- Knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System) and IEP (Image Exchange Portal). On-going professional development (CPD) and audit experience.
- Knowledge of IR(ME)R and IRR regulations
- Having ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, time management skills, ability to use initiative and make decisions, analyse problems and implement appropriate solutions
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, using excellent communication skills, being able to motivate and support others within the team, demonstrating Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
- Experience of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive information
