Job summary

Are you a newly qualified GP looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity? Sevenoaks PCN is seeking a dynamic and motivated GP to join our supportive, friendly team in a central Sevenoaks location.

Location: Primarily based at St Johns Practice, with the opportunity to work at Town Medical Practice.

Sessions: Flexible 4-8 sessions per week.

Pay: Competitive starting pay of £10,500 per session, with the potential for more based on experience and additional skills/qualifications.

Tier 2 visa sponsorship: we are able to offer sponsorship for this post.

Main duties of the job

Perform as an autonomous general practitioner, working independently and alongside other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat the conditions of patients within a primary care setting.

As a newly or recently qualified GP, you will benefit from daily support from experienced GP colleagues.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Newly Qualified General Practitioner with under 2 years from gaining their CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training).
  • MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners).
  • General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Full GMC registration.
  • National Performers List registration (England), noting that confirmation on this list is adequate for DBS confirmation.
  • Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU).
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
  • Current UK/EU Driving Licence.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
  • Proficiency in using Emis Web.
  • Experience in continued professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Not previously been substantively employed at a GP Practice.
  • General understanding of the primary care contract.

Desirable

  • Experience in medicines management.
  • Familiarity with ICB initiatives.
  • Any level of post-training experience will be considered.
