Job summary
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic person to join the Hillingdon Training Hub as a Training Hub Workforce Administrator.
This role will report into the Training Hub Workforce Delivery Manager and you will be accountable to the Head of Workforce, Education, and Training. You will primarily be responsible for providing support in coordinating all Hillingdon Training Hub events, student placements, SPIN fellowships, managing the Training Hub team inbox and more.
Main duties of the job
As a Training Hub Workforce Administrator, you will work closely with the Head of Workforce, Education and Training, Workforce Delivery Manager, other Confederation Managers, NWL Training Hubs and Primary Care, to support coordination of programmes that attract, support, develop and retain workforce in GP practices and PCNs. You will support to develop and expand place-based placements for students, support the transition of all staff into roles in general practice, and aid the retention of those staff through supervision programmes, local masterclasses and CPD training.
The Training Hub has structured its work programme into four key workstreams:
- Training and Development
- Place Based Learning and Student Placements
- Quality Assurance (Learning Environments)
- Workforce Planning

Support coordination
of all Hillingdon Training Hub events, peer to peer groups and forums from
start to finish including the coordination of timings; logistics/venues;
paperwork/admin; communications/advertising, liaising with speakers; attendance
and DNA logs; feedback; Medtribe bookings; attendance on the day to ensure
smooth running or being point of contact for all queries; etc.

Experience/Interns and/or apprenticeships including liaising with host
practices; supervisors/mentors; understanding any teaching/accommodation
requirements; ensuring all necessary paperwork is signed by all parties; keep
accurate and up to date records; quarterly check ins and end of placement
evaluations with all parties required; highlight complaints or concerns to
Workforce Delivery Manager immediately

Coordinate the
sharing and advertising of information regarding any supervision opportunities
inc. SSSA; keep up to date logs of completed training; and where appropriate
when renewal is required

Reviewing of the
training hub pages on TeamNet (with Head of and Delivery Manager), ensuring all
content is correct and up to date making changes when required

Be aware of the
local and national plans i.e., NHS10 Year Plan; NHS People Plan etc.

Keep accurate and
detailed information required for KPIs and reporting of programme initiatives

Support with confederation
internal projects when required

day admin at Health and Wellbeing Practice Temperature checks when required

confederation news page, training tracker, end of year report and any
