We are recruiting for a Non-Medical Prescriber to fulfil the role of ADHD Clinical Practitioner within our ADHD Prescribing and Monitoring Service
What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing nurse-led service at Suffolk GPFederation. We will be supporting primary care by delivering an ADHD Prescribing & Monitoring service in Suffolk and North East Essex for adults and children diagnosed withADHD and stabilised on medication. We will be operating to the national shared careagreement in collaboration with ADHD Specialist Teams to provide a seamless service forpatients and their caregivers.
Main duties of the job
You will work collaboratively with the ADHD specialist teams to provide a prescribing and monitoring service for adults and children diagnosed with ADHD and stabilised on medication. The post holder will be required to work at various sites in Suffolk and North East Essex including an element of home working.
We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.
- This is an agile role, working across various locations in the area and includes an element of home working.
- The service will commence on the 1st April 2025 with opportunity for part-time, job share and full-time hours alongside alignment to adult and/or children based on experience and qualifications.
- Specialist training in ADHD and prescribing of ADHD medication will be provided as required.
