- Youll need to have proven experience of working within an MSP/IT Solution company, and if you have Microsoft related qualifications this would be an advantage to your application.
- You will need to have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Operations Systems both desktop and server.
- To succeed in this role, youll need to have access to transport due to the various sites we run services from.
Contract type:
This role is a full-time position, working Monday Friday. There will be inclusion in the on-call rota to support the Out of Hours service.
Main duties of the job
Technical Support Engineer
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our IM&T team.
What is the role?
- You will work as part of a skilled support and helpdesk team, providing all levels of support, administration, and customer service to users across Suffolk GP Federation.
- Youll be responsible for responding to 1 and 2 line remote requests in a timely manner escalating to the Technical Manager or IT Leads where appropriate.
- You will understand and implement computer repair techniques with hardware and software issues in a workbench, safe test environment.
