If so, an opportunity has arisen for a DoS (Directory of Services) Co-ordinator in Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board.
The successful candidate will be working within a dynamic team of people working with various NHS Service Providers to meet patient outcomes and assure that patients are directed to the most appropriate service first time.
The team works within the Urgent Care Team to ensure high quality and safe care is provided to our population.
The Directory of Services (DoS) is a central directory which is integrated within NHS Pathways and provides NHS 111 call handlers with real time information about all services available when patients make contact.
Accuracy of the DoS is fundamental to the effectiveness of the NHS 111 Service. As well as the functional aspects, the system also has the ability to inform commissioning by generating detailed reports on service demand and utilization.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the DoS Team as a DoS Co-ordinator.
You will be required to support the team and play a central role in the planning of the Directory of Services and engaging with multiple NHS Service Providers.
This role will also include day to day management of the DoS and supporting the team with the DoS management of agreed projects and where indicated gathering information and data, undertaking enquires and producing written reports as and when necessary.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate with others on complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
The DoS team are often required to respond to sudden unexpected demands so the ability to problem solve and work effectively and in collaboration with ICB teams and NHS Service Providers will be very important.
You will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and time management skills as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and organise your own workload with minimal supervision.
