Job summary
The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Integrated Care Board is recruiting to a Chief Pharmacist for the System to provide system-wide leadership for the delivery of an Integrated Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Transformation Plan.
As an experienced Pharmacy professional working at system-level, you will provide expert strategic leadership in the design and implementation of a system-wide Pharmacy and Medicines transformation plan, lead the development of and communicate the vision for Pharmacy and Medicines optimisation across the ICS and take forward a programme of work to support the integration of pharmacy workforce and deliver the agreed programme of work across the system.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the ICB Chief Medical Officer, the successful post holder will develop, contribute to and deliver ongoing quality, clinical quality, productivity and financial efficiency improvements.
The post holder will work closely with senior leaders across the ICS and all pharmacy sectors in LLR, supporting them to achieve their local ambitions and taking forward collaborative work programmes.
