numerate and meticulous analyst to join the Population Health Hub in North
Yorkshire, delivering analysis and insights using a range of health data. This
enables better understanding of our data and supports decision-making that contributes
to improved service delivery and better health outcomes. There is some
opportunity to work on population health analysis across Humber & North
Yorkshire, with a focus on our priorities to improve healthy life expectancy.
You will be self-motivated, have attention to detail and excellent analytical
skills. You will develop bespoke outputs in a range of formats (dashboards,
slide decks and written reports), providing accessible interpretation of data
to health professionals. Previous knowledge of healthcare or public health is
essential. Interviews on 17/04/25 in Northallerton.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will:

About us
NHS Humber & North
Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning and arranging
the provision of NHS services to meet the diverse health needs of 1.7 million
people.
The Population Health
Intelligence team works with closely with business intelligence colleagues and
the ICBs Population Health and Prevention team. This vacancy would suit an
early career analyst seeking to develop their career in population/public
health intelligence within a supportive team.
The North Yorkshire Population
Health Hub is a multi-organisation group which will see colleagues come
together from the local authority, NHS and VCSE; that will aim to support the
systems developing infrastructure, gathering of timely intelligence and
implementation of effective interventions that will improve population health and
reduce health inequalities.
The Northallerton office is 2
minutes walk from the station, hybrid working is available, with one day
minimum per week in Northallerton plus occasional requirements at other sites
(often York).

Working collaboratively with the AD for Population
Health Intelligence, Strategic Lead, Population Health and Inequalities and key
business partners to understand the problems which data is needed to solve, and
to support effective use of analytical outputs and intelligence to help inform

Coordination and delivery of analytical solutions,
from self-serve reporting to in-depth analysis allowing for a greater
understanding of services.
