The Catterick Integrated Care
Centre (CICC) is a transformational development between the NHS and Ministry of
Defence (MOD) that represents a groundbreaking vision to deliver seamless,
person- and family-centred care in the community. This innovative initiative
aims to provide integrated health & care services for military personnel,
their families, and the local civilian population, while setting a national
benchmark for collaborative healthcare delivery.
The CICC will address the
growing demand for health & care services driven by the relocation of armed
forces personnel and the expansion of the local civilian population due to new
housing developments. This requires careful planning, collaboration, and
innovative solutions to meet the needs of a diverse and evolving community.
As the Digital Project
Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the NHS element
of this ambitious programme. You will work at the intersection of strategic
vision and operational execution, ensuring alignment between all key stakeholders,
including NHS partners, the MOD, & local communities. Your leadership will be
critical in designing & implementing the digital infrastructure, processes,
& technological solutions needed to support the successful integration of
care services.
Main duties of the job
The Digital Project Manager
will work closely with the Humber and North Yorkshire ICB Head of Digital and
the CICC Programme Manager to support the successful delivery of the CICC
programme. The role will be accountable to the CICC Programme Manager but will
report directly to the Head of Digital. While sitting within the CICC
programme, the postholder will be line-managed within the digital team.
This role will lead on
delivering digital initiatives that align with the CICC programmes values and
strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include managing the digital
workstream from an NHS perspective, commissioning digital solutions,
identifying and mitigating risks, implementing best practices, and making
decisions to ensure the successful delivery of digital transformation
projects.
A central focus of this role
is to drive NHS digital innovation, challenge existing processes, and implement
technology-driven solutions that create impactful and sustainable change.
The ideal candidate will bring
strong project management expertise & an in-depth understanding of NHS digital
transformation. Success in this role requires political awareness,
strategic insight, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, identify
digital opportunities, and influence cross-organisational teams to embrace
technology.
Excellent negotiation
and communication skills are essential for engaging with staff at all levels
across partner organisations.
