THE ROLE WILL COVER THE HAMBLETON AND RICHMONDSHIRE FOOTPRINT FOR HNYICB.
This is an exciting
opportunity to provide clinical leadership across the primary and secondary
care interface in Teeside, Hambleton and Richmondshire.
As Clinical Lead you will work
with partners across organisations to identify and drive forward improvements that
will benefit patients and clinicians.
You will provide leadership,
establish strong relationships and use your influence to effect change.
A self starter, you will work
as part of a wider virtual team of Clinical Leads across York and North
Yorkshire and the wider ICB.
Main duties of the job
The
postholder will:
Work
collaboratively to deliver planning priorities including embedding new ways of
working between primary, secondary and community care and to improve services
including scoping diagnostic work, reducing interface bureaucracy, reviewing
discharge procedures etc.
Build
and develop key relationships and communication networks across primary and
secondary care in the locality, and across the Teeside network from a
Hambleton and Richmondshire perspective.

strengthening relationships and governance across the system to help deliver
the objectives of the ICB, including transformation of services, reducing
health inequalities and delivering integration.
The postholder will be a key leader within
place-based partnerships. Areas of responsibility will be shaped by the
priorities of the Place but may include working on areas such as clinical
pathways, population health, collaborative-led programmes, education and talent
management.

relation to system working and transformation
Work with Clinical and Professional Directorate
colleagues in collaborative ways to deliver system priorities with Place teams.
Contribute to locality Protected Learning Time
agenda setting and delivery.

- Clinical /care professional registration with license to practice or on the specialist register for Public Health.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Excellent appreciation of the relationship between the ICB, NHS England and individual provider and commissioning organisations.
- In-depth understanding of the NHS, social care, and local authority landscape and interdependencies.
Desirable
- Expertise in primary care development and/or professional education and development.
- Postgraduate qualification.
