Job summary
As a Primary Care Commissioning Support Officer, the postholder will work as part of a team supporting the three ICBs across Yorkshire and the Humber (Humber & North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire ICBs) to deliver an effective service, supporting managers and the team by:
developing effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that services commissioned are effective and meet contractual and governance requirements.
contributing to the development and redesign of care pathways to ensure services commissioned provide both quality and value for money.
assisting in - and coordinating - the development and production of information and assurance systems and processes, and reports, to support business decisions, capacity planning and the ongoing monitoring of contracts.
undertaking project management functions aligned to dental work-streams and governance.
develop and maintain data sources, systems and processes for dental contracting.
undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of a team hosted by Humber and North Yorkshire ICB, on behalf of the two other ICBs in Yorkshire and the Humber (South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire) and will:
- Support the team to ensure that the portfolio of projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively, taking the lead for some projects, and supporting others.
- Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring spend, implementation and evaluation of tasks/ projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management
- Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects
- Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
- The post holder has significant autonomy and discretion to work within a set of defined parameters.
