Job summary
This is an exciting time to join us in Gloucestershire where
Childrens, Young Peoples and Maternity Services are key priorities. This
pivotal role will support system wide collaborative working to facilitate the
delivery of multi-priority work streams identified specifically by the Local
Maternity & Neonatal System.
Main duties of the job
Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) is the collective
term for clinicians, managers, service users, Local Authorities, NHS providers
and commissioners, who come together to plan, deliver and evaluate maternity
services within the Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (ICS) to meet the
needs of women, birthing people and their families. The role of the
Gloucestershire LMNS is to support transformation to improve the quality and
safety of maternity and neonatal care across the full pathway and more recently,
to maintain oversight and assurance of maternity services.
At the core of the work will be providing project management
and quality improvement support and guidance to a number of projects that form
the deliverables within the LMNS programme plan in line with the national three-year
delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services. The post holder will need to
manage frequently tight timeframes to ensure project tasks are completed on
time and budget and provide regular and accurate progress reports, both verbal
and written.

requirement for hybrid working at Shire Hall, Gloucester and home. Travel
between sites and associated venues to fulfil the role across Gloucestershire
may also be required.
