Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to join the Continuing Healthcare Team to provide administrative support to the clinical team and wider service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a strong and supportive team. This is a permanent role, offering a combination of home and office working.
The successful candidates will need to have excellent communication skills, organisational and prioritisation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Teams. This is a varied role, working within a busy team, which requires someone with exceptional administration skills, who can multitask effectively, promoting good customer service and build effective working relationships. The posts require someone with a flexible approach, who has the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes and data quality. The post holders will be expected to provide accurate and effective communications within and outside of the CHC service, dealing professionally and discreetly with enquiries from patients, relatives, carers, legal representatives, health and adult social care professional colleagues and other organisations.
The role will include:
The provision of daily admin support including making appointments, receiving, and making phone calls, managing multiple Inboxes, arranging meetings, producing letters and other adhoc administrative tasks.
Attending meetings and taking minutes (either face to face or via MS Teams)
Inputting and maintaining patient information within internal Patient Record System.
Gathering records and preparing files for Panel hearings
