Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team in the Primary Care and Place Directorate within NHS Gloucestershire ICB.

Main duties of the job

We work with General Practices and Primary Care Networks plus a wide range of other stakeholders. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with an organised and proactive approach.

The successful applicant will be able to work under pressure and within strict deadlines meeting competing demands.

You should have an eye for detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate good team-working skills, be able to work without direct supervision and be willing to learn and develop within the team.

Experience in being able to follow process and/or suggest changes and prioritise your own workload will be essential.

Applicants should have a high degree of competence and discretion, excellent diary management skills and experience in meeting administration and support to high level meetings.

From 1 September 2023, ICB headquarters will be at Shire Hall, Gloucester, GL1 2TG, which will be the main base for all staff. In the interim period until 1 September, the offices will be based at Sanger House, Brockworth, Gloucester Business Park, GL4 3FE.

  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis.
  • Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Office) or ECDL.
  • Previously worked in similar position within the public sector or experience of working in an NHS organisation.
