Senior Complex Care Delivery Manager - Children and Young People (CYP)

Do you want to make a difference and influence Complex Care services for children and young people (CYP) in NW London?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional or Social Worker with excellent clinical/client skills and ability to apply them in multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention of complex cases, to take on a dynamic role supporting the Children and Young People, Learning Disability, and Autism team within the ICB.

The work will include chairing, arranging and leading statutory tasks such as Care Education and Treatment Reviews; Local Area Emergency Protocol meetings; and the three borough Dynamic Support Register monthly meetings.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will role model ethical decision making for complex care arrangements and collaborate with senior managers and other partners across agencies. They will also develop and maintain communication with networks of key stakeholders and service users to support the senior delivery of local learning disability and autism transformation, and undertake ICB duties under the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) reforms for people aged up to 25.

This varied work will involve sensitive meetings that will demand personal resilience and a focused commitment to progressing time-critical actions across our Integrated Care System and local Place Based Partnerships, whilst being supported by senior colleagues in the team.

The work also includes leading the exciting new development of mental health co-production work across the Inner cluster with our voluntary sector, mental health Trusts and Local Authority partners.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate highly developed communication skills used effectively and calmly in difficult situations and with challenging people, being clear in influencing others in line with legal expectations and best practice.

You will also have knowledge and experience of various models of understanding children and young people's mental health needs. You will have the ability to act proactively and with a high level of independence within appropriate operational guidelines.
