Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for providing management and clinical leadership for a team of healthcare professionals in the delivery of NHS Children and Young People's Continuing Care across Birmingham and Solihull ICB.
Have operational oversight of the delivery of the NHS Children and Young People's Continuing Care function including assessments, reviews, commissioning and case management.

Support a range of children's commissioning activities, within the function of the All Age Continuing Healthcare Team.

- Dual registered sick children's nurse/Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration or equivalent

- Excellent knowledge around NHS Framework for Children and Young People's Continuing Care.
- Clear evidence of successfully working with a wide range of external organisations, patients and the public
- Ability to facilitate negotiations and manage challenging workplace situations

- Experience of the wider mental health and learning disability sector and aware of the current priorities.
