Job summary
An exciting opportunity to provide full administrative support to the Primary Care Commissioning & Performance Team within Birmingham and Solihull ICB.
The post will act as the first point of contact for the team, effectively dealing with and responding to a range of queries relating to Primary Care from internal and external stakeholders
The role will involve undertaking a full range of administrative and other duties as requested by the line manager and wider team where appropriate, which are commensurate with the role including ad-hoc projects andcross-cover for other team members.
Main duties of the job
- Acting as the point of contact for the team by taking and makingtelephone calls, composing and responding to emails appropriately,ensuring that key messages are conveyed in a timely and informativemanner.
- Accurately inputting and updating project and contracting data
- Preparing and updating any required supporting information required for meetings, events, and training sessions (agendas, action logs, handouts etc.)
- Responding effectively to tight and often changing deadlines andtimeframes, adapting as necessary whilst maintaining a calm andprofessional manner.
- Develop and implement effective useful and successful processes foryour own work area to support team operations.
- Raising purchase orders for the team where required.
- Developing and maintaining effective electronic filing systems toensure information is kept secure, confidential where appropriate,and is accessible to other members of the team.
- Taking action notes and minutes at meetings.
