The NHS All aged continuing care service has full time administrative opportunities within our East Cheshire team.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, organised individuals.
You will contribute and commit to promoting a positive team-based attitude, striving for the highest standards of service in order to deliver excellent patient focused support to the All Age Continuing Care Team, being accountable to the Team Leader. This is a target focused patient driven role that requires a methodical approach, an eye for detail and a broad spectrum of communication skills.
You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgement and using your own initiative. This position ensures an excellent level of Data Quality is maintained when dealing with confidential information in a sensitive manner. The role requires you to be aware of patients and staff members.

Main duties of the job
As administrator, you will play a key role in supporting All Age Continuing Care Service across Cheshire. Working within the remit of the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare, you will deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support and consistency deliver a client focused service.
To provide a comprehensive diary management service to allocated clinicians, as directed by the Team Leader.
As directed, arrange routine and urgent patient appointments by liaising with the patient and families Care providers and social care teams as well as other department where necessary, keeping the team informed and ensuring patient notes and all necessary correspondence is available for the appointment.
To maintain proficiency and accuracy in the use information gathering and storage.
Have excellent IT skills, in particular in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. In house systems also in use.
You will be required to work on your own as well as working as part of a wider team. You will demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team with responsibility for specific tasks. You will be expected to follow set processes and prioritise workloads to fulfil the requirements daily team goals. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential plus an ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
