Job summary
To provide a first-class business administration service to the place-based Continuing Healthcare Team through the leadership of a team of Administrators. Customer service, reputation and professional response are essential to achieve this.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deal with a broad range of complex and sensitive issues and be a key point of contact, interacting with a wide range of staff and customers across the trust and with external partners. They will also be delegated a high level of responsibility to manage their own work and use their initiative taking key decisions within broadly defined administrative policies.
The post holder will work closely with the clinical leads within the service to ensure that the Administrators are supporting the overall service goal of commissioning continuing healthcare, fast track and funded nursing care for all eligible patients in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
Management of all administration Staff within the CHC team. To include ensuring regular 1:1 support, appraisals and performance reviews, and development in line with the administrators job description.
Working at all times in line with the local HR Policies and procedures and seeking support from HR and others as required.
Ensure effective liaison and partnership working with key stakeholders.
Ensure the administrative team provide the highest quality of service and meets deadlines for the completion of their tasks. This will ensure the smooth running of the wider CHC service.
Maintain pay and non-pay budgets pertaining to Administration staff and office supplies.
Deal quickly and effectively with expense queries.
Facilitate and support the implementation and development of projects liaising with internal NHS, government and external organisations as appropriate.
Support project management plans by developing and maintain project management documentation e.g. business case, project plan templates. Manage such systems to ensure the information is accurately recorded and that reporting is developed to facilitate effective ways of presenting outcomes.
