Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Corporate Governance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Boards and Committees of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Integrated Care Partnership.
The post holder will supply an effective and comprehensive range of managerial, administrative, and secretarial tasks. They will work as part of the Corporate Governance team to develop and maintain arrangements and procedures for the sound corporate governance of the ICB. This will include ensuring that the corporate meeting cycle, the Board, and its committees have robust administration and that the Executive leads and their directors are supported in the delivery of their corporate meetings.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with relevant Executive Leads, Non-Executive Members, and the wider ICB and become a trusted member of the team. They will be expected to exercise judgment in making decisions and be able to operate and deliver independently as well as being part of a team.
You will either have an excellent knowledge of governance arrangements and best practice principles or new to governance and have a strong track record working in managerial or administrative roles whilst being a quick learner with a strong interest in developing the necessary skills.
The post is a hybrid working post, which will require you to be at the office two days per week in addition to attending relevant meetings.

ICBs are statutory NHS bodies responsible for planning and allocating resources to meet the four core purposes of integrated care systems (ICSs):
- to improve outcomes in population health and healthcare;
- tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access;
- enhance productivity and value for money and;
- help the NHS support broader social and economic development.
NHS South West London Integrated Care Board decides how the South West London NHS budget is spent and develops plans to improve people's health, deliver higher quality care, and better value for money.
