Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for business support to come and join us as part of the dynamic South East London (SEL) Medicines Optimisation Team (MOT). This is a part time role (0.5 WTE) working in a job share arrangement. You will be based in the Integrated Medicines Optimisation function within the SEL MOT. You will act as the first point of contact for Integrated Medicines Optimisation, delivering a high quality, professional and comprehensive business support function. This will include supporting the operation of key medicines and Pharmacy related forums in SEL, including:

o The SEL Integrated Medicines Optimisation Committee (IMOC) - a multidisciplinary, clinical decision-making forum for medicineso The SEL Integrated Pharmacy Stakeholder Group (IPSG) - A pharmacy professional leadership forum, focusing on medicines value, community pharmacy integration and workforce.o Supporting any relevant sub-groups

You will be joining a well-established Team, working with partners and contributing to creating a culture of collaboration and learning. You will be expected to develop and maintain an expert knowledge of key issues in order to manage and prioritise your workload effectively and make appropriate adjustments. You will be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, using own initiative and judgement to prioritise the workload whilst performing to tight deadlines.

Main duties of the job

o Lead the business support for the Integrated Medicines Optimisation function to ensure appropriate levels of administration support are available and ensure flexibility to enable peaks in workload to be met, including rescheduling work to take account of changing priorities or urgent work requests.o To develop and maintain administrative and support functions within the team including the provision of a standard range of such functions such as diary management, arranging meetings, booking rooms/ catering requirements, managing generic email accounts, handling incoming emails, telephone calls and correspondence.o Ensure that meetings are effectively planned for, organised and supported, ensuring high quality agendas, minutes, papers are prepared, formatted and distributed to all members: ensuring all documentation for these meetings is readily available upon request, and key agreed time scales are achieved.o Attending and minuting meetings; to assist in the conduct of the meeting and recording the decisions and resolutions made. This will include as a minimum, meetings of the IMOC, the IPSG and any relevant sub-groups.o Lead the business support for system wide pharmacy and medicines optimisation meetings, involving multiple partners with complex, often clinical content.o Responsible for the operational development and maintenance of a range of internal systems to support efficient business processes.
