Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (ICB) is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Project Co-ordinator-Vaccinations to support the operational delivery of workstreams, of the Vaccination programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West ICB, which supports the three emerging priorities as outlined in the NHS 10 year plan, you will be joining an experienced and high performing team, which has repeatedly delivered successful vaccination programmes year on year.

Main duties of the job

Accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer and responsible to the Project Manager Vaccinations, you will play a key role tosupport the Vaccination Team to ensure the workstreams of the programme are planned and managed effectively, co-ordinating and taking action to enable their successful delivery. The postholder will predominantly work within the System Vaccine Operational Centre (SVOC) supporting the vaccination programme, but may also be required to support the wider team functions as directed by the Head of IP&C and Vaccinations.

Job responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day running of the SVOC inbox enabling a safe and effective service for the delivery of Vaccination programmes and other system services as required, this may include:

Two-way dissemination of data and intelligence from the RVOC/ROC to SVOC/SOC for system distribution and feedback loop back.

As directed routine and ad hoc reporting including SITREPs/updates, general information and reports as requested.

Identifying and reporting to the ROC any complex risks / escalations so that support / mitigating action can be taken.

Management of distribution lists and communication tools.

Participation in the regional forums as direct by your manager, disseminating updates to the team.

Provide operational support to the Head of Programme / Senior Project Manager (Vaccination) this may include estates, logistics & supply.

System coordination of any vaccine-related escalation issues arising from vaccination.

Coordination of vaccine allocation, delivery, cancellation and movement allocating work to staff based on service requirement.

Management of mutual aid between local providers.

Support teams to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively.

Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.

Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.

Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
