Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to lead maternity and womens
health across the integrated care system through coordinated programmes of work
and system transformation in order to improve the health of women/birthing
people and babies in Buckinghamshire,
Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a senior midwife with leadership experience
of operational maternity services, workforce planning, reducing health
inequalities, risk management and governance to:

work collaboratively with quality, safeguarding,
patient safety and programme leads in the ICB; providers, wider system partners
and service users to enable delivery of the national maternity and neonatal
single delivery plan and the LMNS delivery and transformation programme.

work collaboratively with workforce leads in the
ICB and provider Directors/Heads of Midwifery to enable delivery of the NHSE
Long Term Workforce Plan.

lead programmes of work in relation to improving
womens health linked with the National Womens Health Strategy, system wide
strategy and local initiatives.
