Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified,
experienced, and motivated safeguarding practitioner to join our high
performing and supportive ICB Safeguarding Team.
Please note you must hold a Professional Registration Nursing, Midwifery, AHP with extensive post registration experience, to be considered for this role.
We are seeking a candidate who
has a commitment to improving outcomes for adults and children through enabling
safeguarding systems and colleagues to work together in practice. The
successful candidate will provide support to the safeguarding leadership within
the Integrated Care System (ICS) and across Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire
West Integrated Care Board ( BOB ICB) exhibiting excellent leadership and
communication skills supporting all adult/child safeguarding activities, to
ensure that healthcare providers and the BOB ICB meet their safeguarding
statutory responsibilities.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will
support delivery of transformational change and quality improvement within and
across local systems. A proven ability to work in a cross-cutting
multi-organisational setting to facilitate multi agency working and wider organisational
change is vital.
Advanced communication and
interpersonal skills are essential, as is demonstrable experience of
multi-agency working. The successful candidate will have the ability to think,
act and respond to changing circumstances whilst maintaining a clear view of overall
priorities.
The post will be Berkshire
West based with an expectation of some travel within the system footprint and
agile working.
