Job summary
Thames Valley Cancer Alliance is a partnership that brings
together leaders from different hospital trusts, GPs and primary care, health
and social organisations, covering a population of nearly 1.8 million people.
Our aim is to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients in
our local area.
We are seeking to recruit two Project Support and Assurance
Administrators to join our innovative and dynamic team to provide professional business
administration and project support services to our Business and PMO teams.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience of supporting projects and delivering complex change in a dynamic environment, who is keen to develop their experience using a collaborative, system wide partnership approach. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and analytical skills, be competent in data entry, possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, pay attention to detail and be a good team player. They should be able to work unsupervised, meeting tight deadlines and adapt to changing/ challenging situations.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing a
high quality project, service and administrative support to the PMO department and
the Head of Business and Planning. The post holder will undertake reporting and
analysis information, to support the implementation of governance and assurance
processes.
The successful candidate will:
Provide administrative and secretarial
services, including preparation of agendas and minutes, ensuring project
documentation is kept up to date, assisting with stakeholder events including
travel around the TVCA geography.
Be first point of contact for enquiries to
the TVCA team, from a wide range of people including Trust staff and external
stakeholders, taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are
communicated accurately to relevant personnel and in an appropriate and timely
manner.
Ensure a comprehensive and robust
information system is in place and maintained to meet the requirements of
service delivery.
Maintain excellent standards of
interpersonal skills and communication in a professional, courteous and
friendly manner at all times, both within the Alliance with all levels of staff
(including managerial/ executive) and with external bodies.

a natural ability to engage and collaborate with varied stakeholders and
continue to improve the health and wellbeing of our population.
