Based in Halifax, you will work as part of NHS West
Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) communications and involvement team for
Calderdale. Your role will involve working closely with colleagues from the ICB
in Calderdale and the wider West Yorkshire ICB team, along with our partner
organisations that make up Calderdale Cares Partnership including NHS Trusts,
primary and community care, the local council and community and voluntary
sector organisations.
The post holder will be an important member of our
friendly team, with the opportunity to work across a wide range of duties
including: strategic planning, media relations, digital, internal
communications, campaigns, and involvement projects.
Face to face interviews will take place on Wednesday 31
July in Halifax.

Main duties of the job
You
will work with a range of colleagues and partners from the ICB and Calderdale
Cares Partnership and external agencies to support, develop and implement
internal and external communication strategies, projects and campaigns that
support our priorities.
You
will provide clear communication appropriate for internal and external
channels, using excellent communication skills, recognising the need to adapt
style and tone for different audiences.
You will have the ability to communicate complex and sensitive
information in an accessible and inclusive way, navigating barriers and
identifying gaps.
You
will have your own areas of responsibilities as part of the team and be
expected to work on your own initiative, seeking advice from colleagues if
required. You will take a lead role in developing and maintaining our digital
channels including social, intranet, website and bulletins.
You
will have an understanding of media handling and be able to respond to media
requests in a timely manner.
Working
closely with the Senior Communications Manager (line manager) you will
support the co-ordination of communication activity across Calderdale Cares
Partnership.
