Job summary
The
Project Manager is a fixed role for 22.5 hours per week for 12 months and
will support transformation and change to maternity and neonatal services
across West Yorkshire & Harrogate.
The
post will be working within the Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS)
Project Management Office (PMO) Team within the West Yorkshire Integrated
Care Board (WY ICB) based at White Rose House, Wakefield. Hybrid working is
available and some travel across West Yorkshire will be required.
You
will be organised and proactive and able to support the LMNS priorities.
The

Main duties of the job
The
postholder will work as part of the LMNS Project Management Office (PMO)
supporting key stakeholders to deliver the required transformation of
maternity & neonatal services and the implementation of the West
Yorkshire & Harrogate Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS) Plan.
The
role will provide high quality project management and administrative
support. This includes management of
plans, risks and issues, and servicing of special projects as well as
ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes within the Programme
Management Office.
The
successful candidate will work autonomously on a broad range of complex
activities within specific projects across a range of partners and
stakeholders, many of which will require constant re-assessment of delivery
timescales and plans where activities run behind schedule or delays are
caused by interdependencies across plans.

time management skills and advanced keyboard skills. A collaborative and flexible approach to

enable improvement work to happen. These involve multiple internal and
external stakeholders, including senior clinicians and service users. This requires strong negotiation skills to
ensure work happens in a timely fashion despite competing priorities.

role will lead on specific projects, liaising closely with the Programme
Director to ensure alignment of timescales and that work is planned, managed
and delivered effectively, ensuring that targets and milestones are met and
delivered on time. Establish and
maintain project progress meetings at the required frequency depending on the
project stage, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining
correspondence, distributing papers and tracking actions to maintain progress
and momentum.
Effective,
accurate and open communication is required with a range of organisations and
individuals, with the post holder acting as a key link between the projects
and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a range of complex
projects.
