Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand-new team within the ICB in
Leeds as part of the Strategy, Planning and Programmes Team.
This
role will provide professional project and programme management support to
the Strategy and Planning Business Unit and support the Programme Directors
in the development of a skilled, agile and cohesive team working to
standardised processes and methodologies.
The
successful candidate will provide transformation expertise, senior programme
and project management, improvement and Population Health Management
expertise to specific work programmes to support priorities.
The
post holder will manage a portfolio of projects by the Programme Directors in
line with agreed priorities and this role will include line management
responsibilities.
The
post holder will develop and deliver programmes in support of the Leeds
Health and Care Partnership priorities and work effectively with colleagues
across Leeds and West Yorkshire to ensure developments are well aligned
across different teams and organisations.
The
proposed interview date for this job is 12th June 2024, unless a suitable
candidate is identified from the at risk register who has priority due to
their redeployment status.
Main duties of the job
- Provide professional leadership and
management to people in the Business Unit and support the development of a
skilled, agile and cohesive team working to standardised processes and
methodologies
- Provide senior programme and
project management, improvement and PHM expertise to specific work programmes
to support agreed priorities
- Provide advice and direct support
as needed with more complex change programmes and projects being delivered
across the organisation.
- Ensure that expertise from across
the BU is deployed and blended into matrix teams across the organisation in
line with the agreed priorities.
- Form trusted relationships with
members of the Executive Team, Portfolio Holders and other members of the
Senior Leadership Tier
- Provide high quality project,
programme and change management support based on agreed methodologies.
- Support experts within the team use
a common set of techniques, processes and approaches to enable consistent
delivery of programme, improvement, PHM and change management.
- Support team members to ensure the
expertise provided by the team is data-driven, measurable and underpinned by
Population Health management approaches.
