Job summary
In this role you will be involved research and evaluation activity related to the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and NHS England Global Partnerships Programme. West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnerships ambition is to be a great Global Citizen, and enable collaboration across the partnership for ethical, sustainable, and good value international recruitment; we are developing educational partnerships that lead to innovation and enable two-way learning between global partners. Our West Yorkshire partnerships include relationships with the Government of Kerala, India; the Ministry of Health Uganda; St Vincents and the Grenadines; and Montserrat.
West Yorkshire ICB is working in partnership with the Global Health Unit (GHU) at NHS England who build international partnerships which strengthen health systems and services in England and across the world. The GHU work with partners to plan, educate, and train an international health workforce.
The post holder will work closely with the NHS England Global Health Unit Research & Development team, who are responsible for ensuring projects and programmes are evaluated and contribute to a high-quality evidence base to underpin and attract future work. This involves complex, multi-stakeholder engagement which requires rigorous oversight and evaluation.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Working for the Programme Director and Programme Manager (ICB Global Partnership Programme) and closely with NHS England Global Health Unit, you will be involved in research and evaluation activity related to West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership. Specifically, you will be responsible for conducting a bespoke evaluation of work the West Yorkshire ICB Global Partnerships Programme, drawing upon appropriate methodologies to answer project objectives. Therefore, experience of and exposure to programme and project evaluation will be of benefit to applicants for this role.
