Main duties of the job
You
will play a key role in how we allocate, plan and manage our financial
resources to deliver the best possible outcomes for the population of West
Yorkshire. Following a recent review
of the ICBs operating model, the ICB finance function will be led as a
consolidated function across our five Places, and your leadership will be
essential to ensure that we continue to provide excellent support and
leadership within the ICB (we have just applied for Level 2 of the One NHS
Finance Towards Excellence Accreditation) and across the wider ICS.
You
will lead on a portfolio that includes one of the five Places in West
Yorkshire (Leeds or Wakefield) as well as one of the Programme Areas across
West Yorkshire. You will be a senior
member of the West Yorkshire ICBs finance function, as well as being a
valued member of the Place Senior Leadership Team and the Director of Finance
network in Place.
You
will support the West Yorkshire ICB Director of Finance in the delivery of
the ICB statutory performance duties and the strategic objectives of the
ICB. You will engage, communicate and
influence a wide range of stakeholders to deliver financial sustainability,
productivity and transformation of services for our populations.
You

Provide professional advice on the
