Job summary

Fixed term contract 18 months An exciting opportunity for a Project Officer, has arisen within the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Integrated Stroke Delivery Network (ISDN), as part of the Long-Term Conditions and Personalisation (LTCP) Function of the West Yorkshire ICB. The successful candidate will support delivery of transformational change and quality improvement within and across local systems, working alongside designated clinical leads along the length of the stroke treatment and care pathway from responding to suspected onset of a stroke, through to diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job

As a Project Officer, you will support the development and implementation of projects to time, cost, and quality criteria. Responsible for providing administrative and project support, utilising project management processes to ensure successful monitoring and coordination. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across West Yorkshire, you will manage your own workload, acting independently and prioritising work to meet agreed deadlines. This role will focus primarily on supporting the Integrated Stroke Delivery Network (ISDN) to implement national stroke priorities, as outlined in the National Stroke Service Model (NSSM) and the Integrated Community Stroke Service Model (ICSSM). However, you will also contribute to other areas of work within the LTCP function as required. The responsibility for delivery may well fall outside of your remit and, therefore, you will need excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to be able to work effectively with stakeholders from across a wide range of organisations. The proven ability to work at a senior level in a cross-cutting multi-organisational setting to facilitate service-specific and wider organisational change is vital. Demonstrable experience of project management in the design, development and delivery of change management and quality improvement is essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to think, act and respond quickly to changing circumstances.
