Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen to join the People (HR) Team at West Yorkshire
ICB to lead the operational People service and provide devolved expert HR
advice to senior leaders, managers and employees to deliver a comprehensive,
fit for purpose and customer focused Corporate People service, which is
accessible, responsive and proactive.
This

This
role is an autonomous practitioner working closely with management teams and
employees to deliver the organisational changesand improve the
employee experience within the ICB
Main duties of the job
Work
with the Head of People to support the organisational change requirements for
the ICB:
Advise,
support and assist manages in the application of the organisation's
employment policies, specifically managing organisational change.
Communicate highly complex and
sensitive issues to groups of managers and staff.
Interpret and advise on employment
legislation, NHS policy and terms and conditions.
Keep updated with employment law
issues and forthcoming legislation including identifying, recommending and
implementing systems where this impacts on the organisation and its policies.
Build and maintain professional
relationships with employees and managers at all levels throughout the
organisation.
Undertake planned or adhoc
strategic and/ or confidential project work as and when required.

ensure that workstreams are planned and managed effectively and take the lead
in ensuring successful delivery.

- Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
- Masters level qualification in Human Resources Management or demonstrable equivalent level of experience.
Experience

- Significant experience of working in a generalist HR role at a managerial level
- A sound understanding of NHS Employment Terms and Conditions
- Experience of managing organisational change
