Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic
Band 3 Continuing Healthcare Administrator to join the Continuing Healthcare
(CHC) Team. The post holder will
provide clerical and administrative support to enable the team to deliver an
efficient and effective service, in accordance with the National Framework
for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS-Funded Nursing Care October 2018
(Revised) and other relevant local and national guidance.
Main duties of the job
Duties
and responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for
the department
Deal with routine and specialist
enquiries
Support colleagues to provide
timely information and advice
Maintain/update records on the CHC
database
Answer telephone calls, taking
message and directing accurately
Ensure all complaints, appeals,
comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately
Assist with preparing papers for
meetings and support with preparation of panel papers
Diary management and booking of
meetings/reviews/assessments
Photocopying, typing letters,
responding to emails and taking minutes when required
Assist in the information gathering
to support requests for information including Freedom of Information requests

- Accurate and advanced keyboard skills
- Experience of using computer hardware and Microsoft Office packages
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
