Job summary
HBL ICT Shared Services has been established to provide comprehensive ICT services to four member organisations, with each organisation having an equal say in the strategic direction of the ICT service. HBL ICT is not a legal entity and therefore is hosted by Herts & West Essex ICB, who in turn are one of the four partnering organisations.
HBL ICT is a self-funding organisation with an operational turnover of circa £14m per annum, which is derived from a recipe of income from four partner organisations, plus other NHS clients within the local health economy.

Our mission is to become the IT provider of choice, by delivering cost effective services which embrace the technology innovations from the industry to improve patient outcomes, in accordance with regulatory authorities.
This means developing a financial and service model that will make the service viable, sustainable and able to meet the technological challenges for the partner organisations, enabling them to operate in a more agile and effective way.
Main duties of the job
o The post holder supports the team manager in aligning Change, Problem and Transition for all production services as a driver of operational efficiency.o The post holder acts as specialist advisor for Change, Problem and Transition within HBL ICT. Working with Project Managers, Change, Problem owners and stakeholders the post holder provides guidance on scope and scale of plans and levels of details required in order to minimize risk to organization from changes to production environments. The post holder defines, updates and delivers training to users and customers across the partnership including guides, presentations, inductions and Q&A sessions.o The post holder manages and is the administrator of the Change, Problem and Transition tools and processes. This includes management of a suite of support manuals for the function and maintaining robust control of services provided. The processes must support activities to enable partner organisations data to be secured at all times. Working alongside the Assurance team, Digital Solutions Operations Manager and Security Manager, the post holder ensures that all security legislation and policies are being adhered to within the processes managed by the role. This includes, but is not limited to Data Protection Act, DSPT and ISO27001 accreditation. The post holder will respond promptly to reported violations and investigate validity, document and update security incidents system.
