HBLICT provides ICT support to its four partners within the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire NHS environment: Hertfordshire & West Essex ICB, Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes ICB, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust and Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
This Procurement Administrator role sits within HBL ICTs Financial Services team which provides both procurement and financial support to the partnership. If you are a motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for procurement, we encourage you to apply!
It should be noted that whilst the role's core base is in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire the successful applicant may also be required to travel to sites across the Partnership area.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.
- The post holder will undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery
- The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
- The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
- The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the Department and the Organisation.
- Transactional Procurement - The Procurement Administrator raises the profile of procurement through providing support and advice to staff at all levels on the most appropriate method of procurement, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Strategic Planning & Growth-- The post-holder is responsible for supporting the delivery and monitoring of annual cost improvements and ensuring that non pay spend is delivered in the most cost effective and efficient manner whilst ensuring a high level of customer experience is maintained.
