We are looking for a person to join the Digital Support & Training Team for a fixed term until the end of March 2026.
The role will be based at Vespasian House in Dorchester, with a mixture of office based and working from home.
The primary tasks will be supporting the Smartcard Registration Authority and Digital Support helpdesk. The post will require some travelling within Dorset, for example to local GP Practices and Pharmacies.
Experience of working in the NHS, Smartcard Administration and/or knowledge of clinical systems, specifically SystmOne, would be an advantage.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be to provide support to GP Practices, Pharmacies and some voluntary sector providers with their use of smartcards, this will include advice, guidance and some trouble shooting.
Other duties are to support the Digital Support Training Team to manage all course bookings, and to provide course materials as required to the delegates.
Alongside the support of GP Practices smartcards there is a requirement to advise on the settings of the clinical system to complement the smartcard positions.
