Are you a passionate andqualified Improvement Advisor with a recognised qualification in improvement? We are seeking Improvement advisors who are able to navigate through rapid change and ambiguity across an Integrated Care System (ICS), and who can confidently support and teach quality improvement methods. Main duties of the job
Come and join the new and developing Health Equity quality improvement team at Beds, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) Integrated Care Board (ICB). BLMK ICB has the privilege of working in collaboration with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement to build our capacity and capabilities in Quality Improvement with the aim of enhancing health equity for our residents in BLMK.
The Improvement Advisor (IA) will be part of a central team within the Nursing Directorate that acts as the ICB's internal resource for improvement science and will possess a deep understanding of improvement methodology. The post holder will have the opportunity to work and learn from our partners the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in the first year in post.
The IAs will be responsible for building capacity and capabilities across the ICS by developing and delivering QI training packages through the lens of health equity. They will be required to support and coordinate numerous QI projects at different levels across the ICS.
