Job summary

NHS Somerset Integrated Care Board (Somerset ICB) is looking to recruit a Band 4 Financial Support post to join the Finance & Performance Directorate.

This is a full-time, permanent post for 37.5 hours per week.

This role will require you to support the Assistant Financial Accountant, Finance Assistant Officer - Cash, and Senior Financial Accountant, and the wider Finance team, with the delivery of objectives, by gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when necessary. Good time management skills are essential in order to prioritise work streams and ensure specific deadlines are met.

Main duties of the job

You will have excellent organisational skills and a sound, working knowledge of MS office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Excel etc., alongside excellent communication skills both written, face-to-face, over the telephone and via video call.

This post is based at NHS Somerset ICB HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. However, we adopt a blended approach to office and home working. Please consider this before applying.

Please also note, that elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset, to attend in-person meetings and meet the needs of the service.
