Keyworker for Children and Young People (CYP) with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
NHS Band 6, 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit to the BNSSG Keyworker Team, who support to Children and Young People (CYP) with autism or a learning disability who are at risk of admission to specialist CAMHS inpatient settings or other restrictive practices. The postholder will engage with and support CYP to communicate their needs helping to ensure a personalised approach is coordinated and implemented across services. You will provide continuity to the CYP and their families/carers, help them to develop a personalised plan and be a local champion to maximise access of CYP with learning disabilities and/or Autism to the services and resources available from commissioned mainstream Mental Health providers and other Services.
