Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Funded Care team for a Lead of CHC Operations within the ICB.

You will be able to demonstrate managerial experience, be able to work autonomously and have transferable skills applied to effective decision making, balancing the need for an individual personalised care approach whilst demonstrating clinical and financial accountability within service provision. You will display a strong awareness of accountability and responsibility in role, taking operational lead of the ICB services with confidence and be able to make evidence-based decisions underpinned by a strong rationale that can be clearly communicated across the wider system.

Main duties of the job
The Funded Care Team within the Chief Nursing Office supports the delivery of NHS funded care across BNSSG.As Lead for CHC Operations, and a member of the leadership team within the wider Funded Care Team, you will be responsible for operational delivery of Continuing Healthcare, and assist with the management and delivery of additional Funded Care services within BNSSG.
Flexibility to adapt to new ways of working, and lead through change as a role model and representative of the ICB is essential due to the current pace of service development. In addition, experience in coaching and change management would be advantageous, but not mandatory. What is essential is that you will display heightened skills in verbal and written communication, be a strong decision maker showing sensitivity to patients and staff and display a team approach to their role within the service.
