Job summary

Supporting the ICB Chief Transformation & Digital Information Officer & Deputy with the development and delivery of the system wide Digital Strategy for BNSSG

  • Leading the design / implementation of the system wide Target Architecture
  • Oversight of the development and implementation of the system wide Digital Inclusion strategy, contributing to ICB objectives of reducing health inequalities
  • Oversight of the delivery and development of commissioned services for Information Management and Technology (IM&T). This includes the ICB corporately, the wider Primary Care Estate, and other system wide IT solutions
  • Managing a defined portfolio of ICB Digital projects, contracts and relationships with suppliers and commissioned service delivery partners
  • Assurance of quality, safety and security in the design, procurement and deployment of IT solutions
  • Management of Cyber Security for the ICB, working with system partners
  • Developing, maintaining and implementing policies and procedures for incident management and recovery in the event of Cyber Security attack and/or IT service breakdown, working in partnership with colleagues responsible for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response
  • Providing digital expertise to support the development and delivery of the BNSSG 2040 Strategy

  • Professional knowledge acquired to degree level or equivalent
  • Information Management & Technology experience and specialist knowledge.
  • Management of delivery of significant outputs through third party/supplier relationships
  • Experience of developing and presenting business cases to secure significant investment.
  • High proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and/or other software applications to enable business improvement
  • Proficiency in Benefits Management and/or Benefits Realisation
