Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Strategic Estates team for a 12 month fix term maternity leave cover position for the post of the Estates & Infrastructure Support Manager. This would be a great role for someone looking to take their next step in project management. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Estates, the purpose of the role is to provide project and programme support to the Estates portfolio at a time when estates will play a key enabling role in the wider transformation of services and the Integrated Care System.The role will involve leading, managing and coordinating a wide range of activities to meet population and service needs.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be responsible for leading areas of business to include the development of the estates, Infrastructure Strategy, as well as undertaking project work within workstreams to ensure proper planning and delivery. The post-holder will be accountable for producing bids and business reports for areas identified as needing investment and must be able to deliver results relating to the effective management of space across all premises for the benefit of patients and other stakeholders. The ideal post holder must be able to work effectively in an autonomous manner as well as within a team and will have established negotiation and persuasion skills. The potholder will also have experience of managing complex projects and be able to demonstrate a history of furthering organisational interests.
